Hey Everyone,
Sorry that I have not written on here over the break at all. I had a week from HELL! Acutally the week was not that bad, it was just those little things that all went wrong. HAHA. First off I would like to begin with my computer situation. On the Wednesday before the break, Feb. 11th, I purchased myself a new computer because my other one was not doing that good. That all went hunky dory for a while. That Saturday, however, my computer decided that it did not want to turn on!!! I was at home for the week so I did not have access to all of my information {because all of my passwords and such were on my computer} so that was not fun at all. Way to go Toshiba! So I finally got that back in on Monday here and they are going to give me a brand new one, until then I am without so I am using the university's. On top of all that, in the mix up of trying to transfer my information from one computer the other and then everything dying on me, I loss ALL of my information from the university for the last four years! That means, EVERY project, every assignment, every little bitty detail that I wanted to save. Somehow I think I clicked on cut instead of copy off of my USB port thinger and it is all gone! ARGH!! Along with that stuff I have also lost my information for my resumes {which is quite important right now for summer jobs as well as applying for teaching jobs}, my St. John Instructor stuff and taxes information {EEK! thank God I have hard copies of that}, as well as many other important pieces of information. I got my mom to send my old computer back up to Regina in hopes that I will be able to regain some of that information.
Now that all that computer crap is done and over with, I taught 3 First Aid/CPR courses over our spring "break" HAHA.. what a nice break. Needless to say I did not get as much homework done as I had wanted to, especially since I did not have my computer and such.
All in all, the "break" is done, and I can get back to doing what I do best. Procrastinating and then freaking out because my assignments are due.
I would post pictures on here of my break, however, I don't have any! Because of that darn computer thing. So I hope you enjoy this picture. I know I sure do!

Your picture is very representative of your post Chantelle... but all jokes aside, I'm very sorry you had such a terrible week! *hugs* I work at Future Shop in customer service, which is right next to the computer repair desk, and listening in to people's computer problems has taught me the important lesson to backup all my information. Hopefully you are back up and running soon,

Ya Robin, it is absolutely nuts! I just keep telling myself that life goes on and there is nothing I can about it. haha. I figure at least have access to the University's computers now which is a big help. I would not want to be a computer IT at any of the computer stores, it took me quite a bit to keep my cool and I know that there are a lot of people out there that do not have the control I do. Thanks for your post.
