Today I went down to St. John Ambulance to talk with the head of the Sask. division. If you have not read my other post on my project, I am doing tutorial videos for St. John Ambulace. I already have copy rite permission from the national office, and now I have to go through some other hoops that St. John has for marketing. I am hoping to get a video camera over the break and video tape some of the courses I am doing, as well as get other instructors and volunteers from St. John to do some of the tutorials as well. I think that this should be great fun and quite useful, not only for myself but also for St. John and the general public. I am hoping that after getting these videos up on the internet the general public will be able to go to the videos as a refresher for their Standard First Aid/CPR/AED refresher.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your project is beginning to roll. I love your idea about the online refresher. I have my first aid and cpr, but they 'expire' soon. I would like to be re-certified but I'm worried about the time/money it will cost me every 3-4 years. Maybe I'll be watching your videos online instead! :) Good luck and keep us updated,
